Your Crank journals were examined by a Decent Machinist?? And they still spec adequately, if not perfectly? Find that surprising, as with one bearing down to the shell backing your oil pressure was likely at single digit levels, if only from the oil losses from the dead journal.
Blocks need cleaning in a Hot Tank.. most certainly ones that have eaten their bearings. Take it somewhere and pay the man to do it.
Also with an engine with oil starvation history, I'd consider it absolutely Mandatory to clean out ALL the oil passages.. scrupulously, with bore brushes.
Engine rebuilding is as much about Detail work as it is inserting new parts.
Sure you could just slap in a few replacement bits. Spray bomb the thing and call it rebuilt..wayyy too many do :-)
Depends on how serious you are on this and how long it needs to live.
A wallet capacity meets integrity question basically.
G'luck.
