Is in progress finally. I went ahead and pulled the head to do head, exhaust, and intake gaskets. Took the head to the machine shop today for resurface. Pressure test of the valves showed low pressure on almost half the valves. Should have it back on Monday/Tuesday. Getting the intake/exhaust manifolds, exhaust side of the turbo and valve cover all hot bathed at the local indy. He didn't mind throwing that in there with some other stuff he was cleaning up. Everything is pretty dirty from leaks. Have only had this car around 8 months, so just getting everything cleaned. Also replacing pulleys, tensioner bushings and serpentine belt. Not messing with the bottom end. Haven't had any problems. Pistons are decently clean for 180k with just a little carbon buildup. Going to be cleaning them with brake cleaner and scotch-brite pad. Any suggestions for anything else to check while in it? Here are some pictures of the work so far.
