Wellll..
1) Current OBD11 Scanner gizmo (from China .. where else :-) Came with crap software and the appropriate software was Infected.. Not a lot of joy there. Could resort to a Canbus device (it a least won't be from China ).. may yet.
2) the thing eats no coolant by my guesstimations, as over the last 6 months the level has not altered.. at all, thank goodness.
Although a HG refit wouldn't be that big an effort, IF I knew it would solve the problem. Prefer not do it purely on spec though.
3) all the usual lo-boost causing bits check out as OK, I even inserted a fresh fuel filter.
4) buying a decent Inj pressure gauge exceeds the cost of a Fresh Fuel pump.. sigh
5) I have, cast a suspicious eye on the pressure regulator, but the diaphragm didn't appear to leak under testing (to 20 psi)
6) thought at one point that it might be an ECU issue. But when swapped out there is no change.. which also negates any blown boost solenoid mosfet theory.
7) Injectors (I think) are clean as it gets Chevron fuel almost
exclusively... lotsa Techron has gone through them.
Clearly this is driving me Nuts.
