I've had my concerns about making the switch to synthetic oil. Mostly its the "if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality". I currently drive a 1995 9000 Aero and have 156,000 miles. My commute is 100 miles round trip, done 5 days a week. I change my conventional oil and filter every 3000 miles, hence I change the oil every month and a half or so. I live in the central coast of California so the seasons only exist in greeting cards.
I feel like I'm tempting fate by even thinking about it. Please tell me if the grass is greener on the other side, and what i should expect. Or should I leave it alone.
