Actuators may not be the problem all the time. Two of them I replaced worked just fine on the bench, quick and strong. The latch mechanisms were free before and after cleaning and being lubing. The control circuit board relay and other associated connections were touched up, and helped actuator operation some initially. When replacing the door card and grey foam liner, I noticed an impression of the door lever linkage in the foam. It appears the link was sticking to the foam, especially if the door lock had not been used for some time. The lock would refuse to work until it was manually actuated, then it would work every time.
