Contact me if you have any questions about making the adapter plug to use the older cruise control module.
The two most likely culprits are the clutch/brake pedal cut out switches or the 41 08 650 is bad or works intermittently.
Those ecu's are junk and problem prone.....
I converted the cruise in my 1992 with the older ecu and have not had a problem with the cruise in over six years
