9000 Aero possible alternator failure.

I have a '94 9000 Aero and I believe either the voltage regulator or the alternator may be at fault. I noticed on the way home a few days ago that the voltage on the EDU was displaying at about 10.6 volts. I made my way home in short order as the voltage was staying right around that area. I cleaned off both battery terminals as they looked like they could use some care and attention. The following morning when I started it up the voltage read 13.9v but during my 5 minute drive the voltage fell back down to the same 10.6v again. This drop happened very quickly and was not a slow degradation.
I'm not sure if it is the VR or the alternator. Which amperage alternator is used on the 9000 Aero? What is the OEM part number for both the VR and the alternator and does anyone have any suggestions as to where to source both of them from? Certain auction sites are mine fields and the Google searching I have done has not netted a result. Any help is greatly appreciated.
