I didn't do anything, actually. That I know of. Driving around town on a hot day, I started smelling coolant. Then the light came on, so I pulled over and discovered the upper radiator hose had broken away from the radiator, and nothing but a thin flaking nub remained. So I scavenged my car for some quick epoxy, smeared it on, and went home.

The aluminum radiator - while overseas - was about $50 cheaper including shipping than the alum/plastic Blackstone alternative, so I took the chance. Should arrive sometime this week.
