You'll likely need CV joint boots and CV joints re-packed. Struts might not be a bad idea along with the bushings and maybe ball joints. For the struts if you push down on the front end and it doesn't just come back to position with a little overshoot, but bounces a bit then they're shot. I would assume if you're mechanically inclined you know this, but I don't know your skils/knowledge level. Do the records show any heater core work? How about the DI cassette?
I got very lucky with a '98CSE I bought a few months ago in that it had the DI, heater core, and a few other items done in the last few thousand miles so I don't have many worries. I did have to get struts (right front was so shot I could easily move the piston in and out once I had it out), bushings, hood struts. Still need a couple of things, but the car is in overall good shape for 154K miles.
