After selling my SPG last year I've been on the hunt for an Aero. There is a '96 for sale locally at a Chevy dealer that has a TMU Salvage US title because it got brought into Washington from Canada in '98 and nobody could tell whether the Speedo on the car got changed to a US model when it came into the US. But a carfax shows regular maintainence and ownership in WA state since '98 with no accidents. The speedo shows 132k but doesn't have KMs or MPHs indicated. Having never owned a 9k I don't know how it's supposed to present but most US speedos have both MPH and KMH so it makes me think this is still the original Canadian speedo. The car is pretty straight otherwise, 5-spd, Green, needs an inspection to know anything further but would the title scare you guys off or do you think it deserves further investigation? They don't even have a price listed for the car because they have no clue what it is but I'd like to get it inspected at least and drive it. The last post about somebody bringing a '93 Aero from the US into Canada said he bought his for $1200 and so that would be a comparable price I'd be willing to pay.
