They are there, they just don't look like anyother connector (black rubber cylinder about the size of a DIN connector). Follow the wire up from the wheelwell and through the false firewall. The wire goes through the flip-up foam and plastic rectangular grommet that is near the fender edge on either side of the car. On the right-hand side, the A/C lines go through the same grommet. The connector is just inside the aquarium. Ther rear connectors are underneath the rear seat. I've never cleaned those, but it seems to me they were under the carpet, and there might have been a access plate you have to remove.
The problem is almost always the front sensors, because of the twisting from the steering of the front wheels and greater exposure to the elements.
