I replaced the blower motor with a new Bosch unit in January of 2008. I have put 28,000 miles on the vehicle since then. Would this would be about normal life expectancy of the motor?
There's another issue which could be the cause of the problem. Recently, only when making fairly hard right turns, the blower motor stops working. After the turn has been completed, normal operation had resumed....... until now. I am thinking if the motor bearings are shot the hard turn would cause the blower to bind in the housing, causing the transistor to fail. Any comments/advice would be appreciated.
