Climate control Posted by Bill Homer [Email] (#3427) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bill Homer) on Sun, 8 Jul 2012 17:59:51 In Reply to: Re: does it have Traction control ?, Chrisa70, Sun, 8 Jul 2012 16:08:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The main two issues with the climate control are the heater cores and the blower motor - both of these are known to fail every 75k - 100K miles and are somewhat difficult to replace (do them both at the same time!), other than that, mine has been flawless.
I tried to find the 1993 car on Ft. Meyers CL, but instead see a nice 1997 CSE Turbo 5-speed for a similar price. I have no doubt which of the two I would consider more desirable. Note that there must be some reason that the engine on the 1993 needed to be rebuilt, and the pre-1994 transmissions are weaker than the later versions.
