My 9000 had a newer Walbro pump that died after a year. The car would crank but would only fire and run for 5 seconds after I pulled the fuel pump fuse. The pump made noise and sprayed out a lot of fuel when I unplugged the line.
I borrowed a fuel pressure guage (free to borrow from O-Rileys auto part), it showed 8 psi. The Walbro 255 is supposed to put out at least 45 psi. New pump and it started right up. My tuner John Williams has done a lot of research with Walbro pumps and from his posts I have concluded that Walbro pumps arent as reliable as stock pumps.
Good Luck
