That's why I don't believe in these fuel pump insert replacements compared to replace the whole pump assembly. Not counting also that the fuel level sensor might go bad later on and you would have to replace the complete unit anyway.
With so many crappy hose materials out there you have to be absolutely sure you get one that is fuel resistant (on the outside).
They might very well be fuel resistant on the inside but to find one that can be submerged in gasoline is tricky and not worth my labor.
