Start visiting junkyards and pull any rear calipers that look not too bad or from cars with low miles, make yourself a pile. Then when time hangs heavy you can pull some apart and pick and choose the best parts.
The pool is wider because the same calipers were used on the rears of C900s with the modern (post 87) wheels and rear handbrakes. Or is that 87 and up? Exact same part.
Go to C900 board and do a search and you may find posts on the handbrake problems. I've personally had no trouble with them, on several C900s and three 9000s, in deep rust country and with high miles on all cars and original calipers. And I'm massively impressed, especially with the ebrake cables, as all other brands of vehicle I've ever owned the e-brakes have been trouble on older cars. Some of the rear calipers on the C900s I had looked like they had gone down with the Titanic and been sitting in salt brine ever since, but still functioned fine.
