My tranny blew on my '92 Griffin; however I was able to secure a good used unit off an early '93. My question is - the old transmission had all kinds of fine metal shards in the oil when I pulled the filter. Any chance this affected the torque converter? I am going to flush out the lines and cooler definitely - just wondering if I should look at replacing the t/c in the whole process as well
Thanks!
