The parts that are known to fail are the 5 lock actuators (1 in each door plus 1 that operates the gas filler door lock), the central lock controller and the micro switches (located in the door handles of the front driver and passenger doors). I haven't see reports of failures in the wiring that connects these failure-prone parts.
The central locking system is powered by fuse 16, a 15 amp fuse located under the passenger side airbag. Start there by verifying that the fuse is not blown. If it is blown, then replace it.
The central lock controller powers all 5 lock actuators simultaneously through pins 7 and 8. If the system never or rarely responds to the console switch or the key fob, then the central lock controller has probably failed. However, if any actuator ALWAYS works, then the controller is doing its job.
If turning the key in a door locks/unlocks that door and nothing else, then it is the door lock's mechanical linkage that is locking/unlocking the door. If no other doors lock/unlock, then the failure is either in the door handle's micro switch or in the central lock controller.
There is a fork in the wiring that carries the power from pins 7 and 8 of the central lock controller. One fork is routed to the left rear door and the gas filler door lock. The other fork routes to the two front doors and to the right rear door.
The information above should help you decide where to start troubleshooting.
