Okay, so heres my situation. I have a 9000cse, with 188k. I just bought this car and love it. I was driving yesterday and had a pretty significant oscillation in the steering wheel on deceleration.it persisted with the car in neutral. It went away after about 1/2 mile, but resurfaced over the next 60 miles a few times. Then, it appeared, and i made a sharp right hand turn, and heard a cv joint like clicking coming from the front left wheel. I drove across the street and turned left into a parking space, to more clicking and then a chunk sound. I put the car in park, turned it off, then started up the car again and tried to put it in gear, but got now power to the wheels. I could hear something spinning in there, and it would change in sound as i moved the gear selector. The car sits now, waiting for a tow. What do you all think? I am hoping for cv joint, or maybe differential, and am hoping its no the tranny. Any other ideas?? Thanks!!
