I pulled the seat and verified that it had power and a decent ground. I tested each motor separately and they all worked fine. Things were leaning toward the memory module, but I was not willing to gamble yet. By a stroke of luck, I discovered that if power was removed from the module I heard what I think was a relay click. At this point I was allowed one function per power cycle before the unit would freeze. Fortunately, this included using the memory switches. So, at this point if I pull and replace the fuse I can adjust the seat once. If it needs to be adjusted again, I must pull the fuse again. I am currently looking for a decently priced module, but I can at least move the seat if I really need too. As a footnote, maybe I am getting like my father, but the more complicated cars get, the less interested I am in owning them. The manual seat in my 1994cs was fine, or if one really has to have a power seat, skip the memory function.
