OK :-) your car.
Rump seal is Very easy to replace.. Too easy not to imo.
With the cover on the workbench, access is ideal.
It's also Clever to reposition a new seal a wee bit differently so that it does Not bear/wear on the previous seals' worn spot on the crank.
Hopefully reusing works out for you. I've rarely had a used seal give long service afterwards.
