Hi Noel! Yeah, I pop in here once in a while ;-) Anyway, after reading Ken Fisher's very useful input, I decided look for an alternative route. On the surface, it would appear that all that is needed is the airbag assembly, which appears to include the buttons(!). I got the idea by comparing the steering wheel from a 9000 Anniversary with a wheel from a 9-3. Looking at the SRS/airbag section, they look identical, except the Anni has blank panels where the buttons would go. In other words, the 9k's (including the Anni) SRS/airbag center section appear to have the same dimensions and I believe it's plug and play, except for the electrics. BTW, I have a JVC as well and it doesn't seem that hard to interface. The steering wheel control input on mine is a standard jack connector.
