I just installed a rebuilt unit that I bought locally at Advance Auto - mainly because they had one in stock (same motor fits 9000s, NG900s, OG9-3) for $150. If you pre-order online you get a 15% discount, bringing the cost to $127.50 plus tax. I had them test both the old one (failed) and the new one (passed) before buying. The new motor cranks MUCH faster than the old one. Autozone had the same price, but didn't have one in stock.
If you search online, you can actually find these for slightly less. Also, there is an auto electric rebuild business elsewhere in the city that will rebuild your motor if you bring it in and leave it, even lower cost. In this case immediate availability, minimal driving and a lifetime guarantee worked for me.
