You could try pedal bleeding. As you probably know, you're supposed to open the bleeder, have your assistant depress and hold the pedal on the floor, tighten the bleeder, release the pedal, repeat etc... When your assistant gets sick of it, though, leaving the bleeder open with a full hose in a jar of fluid and pumping relentlessly will sometimes work out the stubborn bubbles.
