top of the dashboard, disconnect the battery first, then take off the EDU cable connector. Clean the contacts with DeOxit or similar. A good time to replace the tiny EDU bulbs, if one is burned out.
Put EVERYTHING back together before you reconnect the battery. Doing a 'test' and wiggling the EDU connection with a live battery is likely going to trigger the SRS light ... and unless you have a Tech 2 nearby, it's either dollars or living with an annoying light on.
Learned this the hard way.
Btw, the ignition switch remedy isa good fix for random lights NOT working, ie, turning on the parking lights with no help, or nothing happening when you turn over the starter, only to have the second or third attempt at starting work just fine (or cycling the headlight switch to get parking lights on).
