Had a long day installing the newly painted aero front bumper cover and spoiler on my CS. This after previously installing the aero rockers and rear bump cvr from a same color super cse. I can't get ovr how nice the front of the car looks, really nice. I would say for anyone who wishes to greatly reduce or even remove the tired look of your 9000, installing a front resprayed bump cvr and spoiler is way to go. Some items to make note of during the 8 hour install on sunday.
~ preparation is important making sure all fasteners needed are collected, some add'l fastners are req'd over and above the non-aero bump cvr
~ a few of the spoiler to bump cvr jack nuts in the bump cvr were missing prob due to rust and req'd pullout, so in those spots I tapped plastic wall anchors in, I used Triple Grip Cobra 172R #10 and they worked great, in one spot I had to use the #12 version, these are avail at HomeDepot.
~ the aero bumper cvr fit well except where it wraps around the front lower edge of the wheel opening which took some force to fit.
~ I used the 20 watt bulbs in the foglights based on a tip i read here, this worked well and they seem very bright (but as we know they are basically meaningless for driving purposes), the foglight lenses are chromed plastic and after looking for good ones I found all these lenses at this age are all loosing their chrome, highly recommend not leaving them on with the oem 55 watt bulb!
~ professional body shop spray wasn't cheap but they did a great job with some repair to the spoiler

97 9000CS, 150k miles... now to decide on rear qtr rust, est about $1200 :-(
