Lpt to Fpt part way and question

Visited 5 junkyards in Southern California, obtained only a T5 BPC; pulled it from a 9-3. Was surprised by how small it is. The removal was a real struggle. Whoever installed it used British measurement bolts and nuts, of different sizes too. Not only that, the threads don't match and they were forced to mate. I wind up using a large screw driver to lever the BPC out. Pulled both nuts/bolts set through the sheet metal!
Here is the question. The body of the BPC became separated from the base during the struggle. They do snap back together fine. Do I need to seal them? Using what sealant?
Tested the resistances, both sides read 2.7 ohms. Believe they are to spec.
Shall buy an ECU (4300836) from one of the vendors.
Cheers and thanks
