CV joint screw-type boot clamps? Posted by skibumm100 [Email] (#3255) [Profile/Gallery]

I had to change the axle shaft on the RF of the Aero on Saturday. This is the first failure I've had on a CV joint that wasn't related to a torn boot. Changed it out pretty quick with an EMPI axle assembly from my parts shelf and the clickety-click went away. When I removed the old axle, the inner tripod joint boot was a screw-type boot clamp. This is not a typical generic hose clamp but a purpose-built one that has a very narrow width and a very small screw. It is SOOOOO much easier to work with these as opposed to the one-time-use crimp clamps. Does anyone know where to source these screw clamps? I remember putting it on year's ago but can't remember where I got it.
