As they have a tendency to blow off with high boost pressures, since they don't come with the built-in lip that the OEM elbow has. I have had the Samco silicone intake hoses on both my 9000s. My experience is that you have to be very careful having the correct position of the hose clamp when tightening it, and tightening it enough, but not too much (it'll start pushing the hose off). Otherwise the hose will have a tendency to blow off over 15 psi.
On my higher boosting previous 9000 I had to rough up the aluminium surface of the throttle body (I just cut some superficial grooves parallel with the big one for the OEM lip) to make it stop blowing off at 26+ psi.
