Hey folks.
I recently found myself in a fender bender in my 1995 SAAB 9000 CS. I have an ABS sensor out and paid the price because my brakes locked up when traffic abruptly stopped ahead of me and I slid into another car.
NOW - I had comprehensive coverage, so I started the process.
The damage is straight forward:
* Driver Fender
* Hood
* Grill
* Radiator Support
* Driver Headlight
* Driver Indicator
* Bumper cover
Some miscellaneous small things, but that's it. Over $5,000 in est repairs necessary.
The vehicle had 176k miles on it and is in great condition otherwise.
Insurance is valuing the car at $3,000 for me, and offering for me to keep it less its $600 salvage value. After my deductible I stand to receive $1,900 back.
NOW...the thing is - this actually seems reasonable.
Do I accept, or do I try to squeeze some more out?
Need your wisdom!
