Sorry, I don't have any photos for you, but, from the outside, if you look up from underneath and check right where the shock goes into the body, that's where you'd see the exterior rust. Put your hand up there and feel around for crunches. From the trunk, there is a little flap on each side of the carpeting that, at least on my '95, wasn't cut all the way through. Using a good knife, you can cut them all the way through and flap them down to get a look at the top part of shock tower. Mine are ugly from the outside, but nice and solid and clean still inside.
