I'm able to do all it at my house. I don't want to haul a bunch of stuff to the junkyard. I can use the junkyard's tripod hoist to lift the engine. Trying to avoid that also. I'm wondering if I can just remove some of the subframe bolts while leaving others loose enough so the whole business will hand down far enough to snatch the trans out of the way. My car was barely engaging the clutch at the floor when I parked it. It's been sitting for maybe 9 years. Now the clutch action is very stiff. Like the slave or master is internally corroded. The junkyard car has a nice smooth clutch. Already grabbed the master from that. That master looks clean and shiney. i'm thinking that clutch was recently replaced. So i'm ready to grab the clutch too if it's good.
