Installing brighter bulbs in dash

Fyi, I've always thought that the 97 9000cs dash guages backlighting were a bit dim when at maximum brightness. So I looked online and found the below linked site.
I replaced the speedo/rpm display rear mounted bulbs with 4 large incandesent(sp?) bulbs with their part # 194-5SMD-W (Ultra Bright 5 SMD (15 led) Bulb 194 T-10 Wedge-Super), Color: Cool White
These LED's have a similar wedge base as the oem, you just pull them straight out of the black plastic base. Note that LED's are polarity sensitive so if it doesn't work turn the bulb around. The two smaller bulbs I did not replace for the left and right turn signals- they are fine as oem.
Results: Significantly brighter - with my choice of the 'cool white' bulb color the resulting color of the guages are a brighter, lighter shade of green say turquoise. Surprisingly the dimmer still dims the display (thought leds's were nor dimmable). Very nice improvement IMO!
Would love to hear from anyone else who tries a different color.
