Ya, wider tires and wheels will always wander more than narrower ones. They could just be exposing some issues with the car that aren't noticeable in the narrower, smaller set. Too much toe in will make a car dart around more, and things like worn control arm bushings, tie rods, or ball joints will also cause wandering that might not be obvious with the other wheels. Some tires are just going to be worse at it than others too. See how switching them back to front goes. There's likely not one good fix, it's probably a matter adjusting the toe a bit, replacing the rear control arm bushing, and checking everything else for play, and maybe some new tires, maybe 205s, and that might get you where you want.
