Left Rear Caliper
Posted by Saaberite (more from Saaberite) on Sat, 3 Dec 2016 06:52:08
So I decided to replace my rear brake pads since they've never been replaced before (129K) & I thought the squeaking noise I've heard of late was coming from the rear. After jacking up the car I noticed that the old pads still had some life left in them but decided to replace them anyways. Passenger side, I had no issues. However, the caliper on the driver's side won't adjust wide enough for pad replacement. I'm afraid that I might've even stripped the head on the adjustment screw.
Is caliper replacement my only alternative?
As usual. thanks in ad vance for ant help.
