I had a chance to do some troubleshooting and the cooling fan does not work on high or low speeds. I think it hasn't worked for six months or more. I have (2) spares. Unfortunately, they are in storage halfway across the country. I bought a wifi OBD II scanner so I will see what the water temps get to. I think it's OK if it doesn't get too warm out. Not much chance of that in MI this time of year. Most of my trips are shorter or steady speeds w/o a lot of stopping so I think it only rears its head under abnormal circumstances, like traffic jams or really hot weather.
