96 9000 cse 4 cyl turbo

its starts breaking up as soon as the boost gauge gest to the top of the yellow and into the red/orange.

What the red/orange indicate in the first place ? Is that just max boost or is that like a redline on a tach. You don't want to be in it ?

When the gauge trnasitions froms yellow toe red/orange the lines are broken up .. kind of how the car actds when you hit that mark on the gauge .. ?
