Creating an adjustable rear axle is a big undertaking, requires skilled welding and some expert alignment setup work. I might get to it one day, have a spare axle. A guy named Mangus in northern Sweden did a great write up about it with pictures, you need to translate though to English. Mangus has also done a huge amount of carbon aero work, very inspirational car.
Have never posted a picture on this forum, it is a basic forum. I have tons of my and other fast Saab photos, had posted hundreds of them and videos on a now vanished saab forum. Do a search, there are lots on forums from Sweden and UK. I am familiar with the car in this video, and know the current owner, gives you a feel what a hard core 400hp 2700lb 9000 can do, then imagine great brakes and a full roll cage and better suspension setup, look for Donnington 9000 Aero m5saabcentre. I have put a lot of info on fast 9000's out on the web under Aerohead.
Std 2.3 turbo gearbox is a 3.61 final ratio, great for fast road use but too high for track use. 4.05 which I think is perfect for track 9000, or 4.45 for very high rpm setups can all reach 160mph as long as you have the bhp. Have been on track in a 500hp 9000 with 4.45 gears and 2850lbs curb weight and good track rubber and it certainly shifts, acceleration out of corners awesome, takes a very potent car to keep up with this setup. Six speed 9000 have a Quaife gearbox gearset, very costly, not demonstrated to my knowledge to be as reliable as desired. In my opinion a Quaife LSD in a modified and properly built gearbox is a better approach. I have a Tilton pump to drive the trans oil through a front mounted cooler as well, sitting waiting to go into my current rebuild.
