So, can we assume that the car has an automatic transmission - makes a big difference? Also need to know if the fluid that is escaping is Automatic Transmission Fluid (red) or coolant (any one of a rainbow of colors at this point).
It's possible that the plastic end tank is a bit disintegrated around where the automatic transmission cooler line enters the radiator - if the car is an automatic. The OEM radiators eventually succumb to cracking plastic, particularly around the connection to the top radiator hose. Note that there is some somewhat good news on this, in that you can get an all-aluminum version of the radiator on Ebay for about $125 - I have had one of these in my car for a few years already. If you go this route, note that you need to have some metric bolts available to mount it as some of the screws that go into plastic on the original radiator are replace with threaded holes on the aluminum model.
