Thanks for the replies, I went ahead and ordered a Reman Bosch alternator from Rockauto. It's slated to arrive Thursday.

I may eat the core charge and keep the one that comes out of the car as a spare, we've got a couple of good alternator shops in the area that do their own rebuilds.

I'll try to post what I find when this unit comes out.
