I made a point to buy my 9000s without TCS, as they were still readily available at the time. That said, some people have been happy with TCS cars, and the usual parts that fail are the check valve and the throttle body - if these have already been replaced in the past 25 years, you should be good.
Regarding 9000 parts availability, the only parts that I have not been able to easily find for my 1994 Aero with almost 200,000 miles are:
1. SAAB clutch slave cylinder (the non-original replacements are time bombs waiting to fail), but I was able to buy a rebuild kit of SAAB OEM parts for the existing slave.
2. The tow hook door on the front spoiler. For some unknown reason, the Aero version of this is a different shape than the other models, and the correct Aero version does not appear to be available, despite the listings saying that they are all the same.
3. A/C hoses - but I had the old hoses repaired at a hydraulic shop that put new rubber hoses onto the old metal end pieces. A replacement A/C condenser was available, but took some searching to find.
