96 9000t sometimes smokes
Posted by william [Email] (more from william) on Tue, 25 Feb 2020 19:56:38
Sometimes my 96 9000t smokes, today was the second time I have noticed it
the first time was maybe 6 months ago.
I had driven maybe 30 miles, then stopped the car for about 20 min in a fast food restaurant parking lot, then started it and immediately got into the drive thru line, after a few minutes it started smoking really badly so I shut the car off starting it only to move fwd, got food took off smoke went away and has not smoked since. I think last time it smoked it had been driven then idled for a while too
is this turbo going bad ? or valve seals? or something else maybe ?
