What you're looking for is EPDM hose. Once you know the inner diameter you need you should be able to find it by the foot at a hose or industrial supply type store, or probably online somewhere too. Motorcycle guys love using some sort of clear tubing for this purpose, but I don't think it's rated for under hood temps. I think the guys talking about hydraulic hose are thinking of the pressure lines, not the feed line. You don't want hydraulic hose for what you're looking for, as it has a very strong braided steel inner layer that doesn't compress well with hose clamps
