So put a O'Reilly's air conditioning compressor on and it leaked.so sent that one back put on a AC compressor from the parts shelf. Blows cold holds pressure does not leak. The only thing it does do is when I slow down there is a lot of vibration in the motor at idle.so the backstory freshly rebuilt motor first time I've ever had an air conditioner on a 9000. Brand new motor mounts all the way around.no complaints with the motor so far it's only got about 40 miles on it but every time that I stop at an idle the engine vibrates excessively ,I hit the button turn the air conditioner off and the vibration goes away. Is this the compressor not disengaging causing excessive vibration or is this normal on a 9000 with ac.if I give the car a little bit of gas say 1200 RPMs the vibration goes away even with the air conditioner on. When you're resting at say 900rpms at a stoplight with the AC on it vibrates pretty bad. Hit the button AC off smoothes out. By the way if anybody's been following my last couple of posts about the oil pressure I put a new timing chain guide on it and made sure that little piece was in this time. Have much better oil pressure.but with the air conditioner on at idle I'm only about 5 to 7 PSI of oil pressure. Turn the AC off and it goes up to 10 or 12. Which 10 or 12 PSI was where it was at before I messed up the crank bearings. So I guess everything is back to normal for the most part other than the strange vibration.I'm thinking about taking the air conditioner compressor off and putting another one on that I have here on the parts shelf and see if maybe the clutch is bad in the one that is in the car currently. Thanks if anybody has any insight that would be great.
