Eeuroparts sells two different bulbs for the SAAB 9000 instrument panel - neither of them work.
1. Bulb SKU 5375266 does not work in the EDU (lower information part of the instrument panel) as the contact surfaces are on the inside (front) of the circuit board and this bulb only contacts the rear side (back). Even though they are being sold as a "Genuine SAAB part", they do not work - these are made by Toshiba, the originals are Osram.
I found a bulb from another vendor that actually works - verified in my car. The little "ears" next to the bulb contact the display side (inside) of the circuit board. Oh, and there are THREE of them, not two: http://www.autohausaz.com/pn/OS-8566853
2. Bulb SKU 4087482 does not appear to fit anything on the instrument panel, except perhaps a very different replacement for a turn signal light bulb - and the original socket has replaceable bulbs. The main instrument panel has FOUR main bulbs, which are replaceable in reusable sockets. Here is a bulb that will work:
