Long story short, in a pinch a had to replace my tie rod ends exactly one year ago. Longer story short: the order had mismatched tie rod ends show up, one being the Moog, when I had ordered TRW's. (I don't recall the part number as it was not what I ordered) but the Moog was pretty beefy and rubber boot seemed equal to task, and seemed just fine to go ahead and time was an issue.
I have just checked on the tie rods (I am in the middle of a/c overhaul so living in the engine bay). 1 year in they seem totally fine, no appreciable difference between the TRW and MOOG.... but this is just 1 year and about 5K miles max....
I can say they are much better than the thinner, super cheap stuff like API, and even the AC Delco units, so I think you could do much worse than the Moogs...especially if you dont want to wait for shipping.
I wish I could be more definitive. If it were me, and I couldn't wait on shipping, Id use the moogs.
If they were the really thin questionable rubber booted cheapo ones, I'd balk.
