Intermittent cabin blower fan Posted by kconatymd [Email] (#1650) [Profile/Gallery] (more from kconatymd) on Fri, 24 Sep 2021 14:48:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
1995 9000 Aero with ACC. Blower just stops. Then maybe a day later, it comes on again. ACC lights up. Resistor has been replaced with a good one. Wiring to blower looks bad but connections are good. Direct 12V to fan proves fan works.
Just looking for an approach to diagnose the problem. I tried swapping in another ACC but I don't really know if it is good one. Used to be I could give the dash a good pounding and it would come on - no more.
I am wondering if I should just reflow all the solder joints in the ACC? Something else I should check?
Thanks
