I replace my fuel pump on my 92 9K 2.3T with the an original Bosch about 8-9 years ago. No problems, maintaining the 30 PSI fuel pressure at the Fuel Rail.
I don´t know if you have a 2.3 or a 2.0 engine, but the manual is where you need to check your Engine Fuel Pressure, because you do not want Engine fuel starvation.
SAAB has only installed (what I have read in the manuals) both the Bosch and the Walbro fuel pumps on the 9K´s.
