I bought yet another Saab 9000 Aero 5-spd. I purchased the Scarabe Green 5-spd from Mark in the classified section. I was really debating about getting out of the 9000 game, for the most part, as all of my other 9000's are pretty rusty. I still have the wrecked black 96 Aero 5-spd and I was thinking about sacrificing one of the 97 CSE Automatics to piece it back together but the chassis is really too far gone to do all that work for a couple years of drivability. The green 97 is a really solid, rust-free PNW car. It has a couple of really minor things I need to address. Unfortunately, the drivers side leather isn't in the greatest shape. I still have the interior out of my previous green 97 Aero but that drivers seat isn't too much better. The black interior of my 96 is very good with only some minor wear. That's the best part about that car. I wish that guy on eBay was still selling Saab seat leather. I think he stopped quite a few years ago. Maybe I should go to the SOC in Chicago this year? It's only a couple of hours away.

Anyhow, it appears I'll be around this board for a while. :-)
