Over 20-30 years I learned the hard way that getting & keeping a (real) Saab on the road could be a huge challenge.

Between the wannabe/pretend mechanics & so much other outright dishonesty in this region I was blessed to find just ONE truly honest Saab indie & stuck with him for many of those years.

Until he quit & my last Aero needed top end work which he was unavailable for.

Adding to that is the fact that his garage is a 2 1/2 hour drive from where I now live.

So it became all too obvious that it was my time to be done.

The good news for my dear, last Aero is that it went to a new owner who is strongly devoted to keeping BOTH his '97 Aeros on the road & has the resources needed to do so.
He had that work done, transported Mr. Aero to his distant location & now it is their story to tell.
